LumiLight products are designed for personal lighting and visibility purposes only. While every effort is made to ensure our products are tested, compliant, and safe when used correctly, no consumer electronic product can be guaranteed to perform without fault in every environment or circumstance.
This policy applies to all products sold under the LumiLight brand, including lighting devices, electronic accessories, rechargeable products, and any related components, unless otherwise stated on the individual product page or instruction manual.
By purchasing, using, or handling any LumiLight product, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out in this policy.
2. Intended Use
LumiLight products are intended for general personal illumination, including but not limited to:

Our products are not designed or certified to replace professional, industrial, tactical, emergency, or life-saving equipment.
Do not use LumiLight products:

As a primary safety light for vehicles or machinery
3. General Safety Guidance
For safe use, always follow these principles:

Ensure the product is properly fitted or positioned before use

Never modify, disassemble, or attempt to repair the product yourself

Do not use a damaged product

Do not shine the light directly into the eyes of humans or animals. LumiLight products use high-output LEDs which may cause discomfort or temporary visual disturbance.
4. Battery & Charging Safety
LumiLight products contain rechargeable lithium-based batteries and must be handled responsibly. Where a product-specific instruction manual or safety notice is provided, those instructions take precedence over this general policy.
Charging Guidelines

Only use the supplied charging cable or a certified compatible USB cable

Use a power source that does not exceed 5V output

Do not charge for longer than 2 hours at a time

Never charge the product while in use
Important Warnings

Do not charge near water, heat sources, or open flames

Do not charge the product near flammable materials or on soft furnishings such as beds, sofas, or carpets.

Do not charge unattended or overnight

Stop using immediately if you notice swelling, leaking, excessive heat, smoke, or unusual smells

Allow the device to cool fully before recharging if it becomes warm during use
Dispose of batteries and electronic components in accordance with local recycling regulations.
5. Water & Environmental Exposure
LumiLight products are water-resistant, not waterproof.
They are designed to withstand:

They are not suitable for:

Swimming or underwater use

Prolonged exposure to heavy rain, snow, or standing water
Environmental factors such as extreme heat, cold, or humidity may affect battery life, brightness, and performance.
6. Transport & Movement Disclaimer
LumiLight products should not be relied upon as a sole visibility or safety solution in traffic environments.

Do not use as a substitute for vehicle lighting or reflective safety gear

Do not rely on LumiLight products to make you fully visible to drivers

Use additional high-visibility clothing or approved safety equipment when required
7. Children & Storage Safety

Keep LumiLight products out of reach of children when not in use

This product is not a toy

Do not allow children to handle charging cables or batteries
When storing the product:

Keep it in a cool, dry place

Avoid direct sunlight

Do not store while damp or wet

Recharge at least once every 3 months to maintain battery health
8. Compliance & Certification
LumiLight products are manufactured to meet applicable UK and EU regulations, including:

Certifications apply only when the product is used as supplied. Any unauthorised modification, use of non-approved accessories, or tampering will immediately void all certifications and warranties.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
LumiLight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products. This includes, but is not limited to, injury, property damage, loss of data, or loss of income.
You are solely responsible for determining whether the product is suitable for your intended use.
If liability is established, LumiLight’s maximum liability shall be limited to the original purchase price of the product.
All implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed where permitted by law.
10. Medical Disclaimer
LumiLight products are not medical devices.
They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, injury, or medical condition.
11. Warranty & Returns
Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturing defects under normal use.
Damage caused by:

LumiLight products purchased from unauthorised sellers, resellers, or marketplaces are not covered by official warranty or customer support.
